DLG Group policy in occupational safety and health

DLG Group considers the occupational safety and health of the company's employees and the protection of the environment a primary responsibility of the company.
The company is committed to providing a safe and healthy place for all employees and workers within the facility, including contractors, workers and others, and to take all appropriate preventive measures to reduce and reduce the occurrence of personal accidents, pollution and damage to property and the environment.
As the direct management is responsible for the level of performance in the field of health and safety, we have developed a safety and occupational health policy based on the requirements and standards of ISO 18001:2007 and the level of performance in health, safety and the environment will be measured against the goals set through continuous improvement, and everyone should do everything His effort to ensure that the workplace is free from any accidents affecting health, safety and the environment by taking advantage of all available work practices.

To achieve this, DLG Group undertakes to provide the necessary resources with the intention of:

  • Compliance with laws, safety and health and environmental regulations in force in the Arab Republic of Egypt and other requirements to which the company belongs, while maintaining the existence of communication channels between them and the relevant institutions.
  • Promoting awareness to all DLG employees about the impact of occupational health and safety and the environment by providing technical and executive safety training, and focusing on developing a culture of excellence to reach the minimum number of accidents and diseases to maintain the safety of individuals and companies and health and safety programs in order to achieve the specific goals of each activity, The modernization and initiative to reduce or prevent accidents resulting from the company's activities and deal with them in the best way.
  • Developing regulations and procedures related to occupational safety and health and environmental protection
  • Provide the necessary training and enhance awareness of the importance of occupational safety and health and environmental preservation to enable management, employees and contractors to fulfill their responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining the development and evaluation of performance to ensure high efficiency of the systems

DLG Group policy on drugs and alcohol in the workplace:

The use of alcohol and / or drugs on the job site poses a great risk to the user and his colleagues, and it also leads to a weak rate of production and level of performance, an increase in the rate of accidents and injuries, security violations, loss of company property and poor morale of the abused individuals, as well as a significantly increased risk on the third party and the environment.
Therefore, the company takes the following measures:

  • The possession, use, distribution, or sale of drugs or psychotropic substances by workers is strictly prohibited and leads to immediate dismissal.
  • Inability to do work due to the effect of drug or alcohol use is prohibited and it results in immediate dismissal.
  • In the event that a positive result has been established for the alcohol or drug test or refusal to take the alcohol and drug test, disciplinary measures will be taken, including immediate dismissal.
  • An unannounced alcohol test is performed regularly by company instructions.
  • Take disciplinary action against individuals who fail to observe this policy or neglect the warnings on alcohol and excessive drug use.
